The Houghton County Historical Museum, is the home of the Copper Country Railroad Heritage Center, is located in historic Lake Linden. Once the site of the largest copper milling operation in North America, Lake Linden now offers a beautiful park on the shores of Torch Lake. Picnic facilities, overnight camping, a swimming beach, and boating facilities are available in the park, and directly adjacent to the museum campus, allowing easy access by footpath.

Camping reservations can be made by contacting the Village office at 906-296-9911, Monday thru Friday, between 9am and 4pm.

Senior/Student $3.00

Children under 12 $1.00

MUSEUM & GIFT SHOP HOURS:

Open Seasonally June through September, seven days a week, 10:00AM to 4:30PM Off season tours and field trips can be arranged by calling the museum office.
