Commissions:
In order to commssion Chris to design, scratchbuild, and/or assemble/kit-bash a model for you, the process is as follows:
- Send us a copy of the plans or photos of the structure, detail, vehicle, or rolling stock item(s) you wish to have modeled. We will then evaluate the cost of materials, special jigs and dies, and other factorsand prepare a formal estimate.
- Once we agree upon a contract price for completion of your project, we will send you 2 copies of contract and will expect a deposit of 50% of the overall cost, with the balance due on delivery.
- While we attempt to deliver as quickly as possible, the more complex the model subject, the longer the project will take to complete. Expect 4-6 weeks minimum for delivery. Remember; quality is not always quick!
- RailDreams and Chris Comport warrant your satisfaction, and will accept no compromise.
